It is 42 C; the heat seeps through the house across the floors and rises to us where we are seated sweltering. If this is September and Fall weather I am grateful I wasn’t here for Summer. Whew.

A couple days back in San Giovanni Valdarno, the town of the Spring, and it feels good to be in familiar territory. I am lucky to run into people I know, visit and catch up, and ride the rolling (HA! More like impossible) hills towards my goal. On September 1 I decided in celebration of my 25th Birthday I was going to ride 1,025 kms before September 28. I have 820km to go. Wish me luck...

Since I have been away from the blog world I have been busy. I was able to visit Toronto x2 to see the parental units, once out to Van to see my lil bro, and time with sister and whirlwind visits left right and center while skirting in and out of the Rockies for work. I got on a flight to come back over and I couldn't answer my plaguing question... where did the time go?

I am on my way again... a few days until I head to Piedmont for the Fall. Check out what I have been up to since Ireland...

In Stanley Park with little brother!

The view off my brothers balcony...we would later crash the same grounds for a concert.

Mia Fratello!
A Great day with Nicki... too fast... fun times in the photo booth...

MATTY! We hiked up Plain o' 6 Glaciers to the tea house when he was here. It was this moment I may have put on a wee bit of Whiskey Weight from Ireland...

OK, I admit it, the Rockies are beautiful...
I'm not sure why these pictures come out small, but this is Dad and I on my "25th" celebration-
And being spoiled that night...

3/5s of our family. Charlie and Jane tried to get us kicked out of the resturant, ha ha.

Thanks for the Cake Mum! You're the best.

Stay tuned for pictures from Tuscany, Piedmont and more...

Love, me. xo
