Hi! I’m Holly Bird.
I began this blog to log my experiences of travel with a girlfriend after I left a corporate marketing gig in 2007. My little “update my family” blog that I intended to keep active for only a few months has found life in the years that followed.
You’ll discover the earlier years of this blog are focused around my living and working abroad as an expatriate, my extensive travel and misadventures abroad. My life these days are full of different type of adventures: owning a business and navigating the waters of entrepreneurship, adventuring in the great outdoors, and tackling big goals as an endurance athlete.
I now live in Calgary in the heart of the Canadian Rockies with my very tall (and very handsome) husband, adorable little girl and energetic dog. These are my stories.
