Vrsic Pass: 21 km of 10-14% steepness, 25 switchbacks. I thought I might throw up. I also thought my legs might burst.

Holly… when I see the pictures of the mountains, the aid station and hear of the steepness of the grade and you wanting to puke, I wonder WHY? WHY? WHY? But then I see your happy face smiling with your tour mates, the beautiful landscapes, the ever changing scenery, the picturesque backgrounds and think WHY NOT? WHY NOT? WHY NOT?
